Updates: Unknown To Be Determined

UPDATES ?

I'm not sure what this post will end up being. As I start drafting this post it is only a few days before the end of September and I still haven't decided what to blog about. Sure I have some drafts in my posting queue, but they aren't ready yet. Many require scanning that I have yet to do, even some that have been sitting for years in my post draft queue. The recent format changes that Blogger did has really hampered the way I do my blogging to the point that I sometimes think of just abandoning the whole damn thing. But I have 3 blogs to juggle. UGH. I am also wondering if maybe there is some other blogging platform I can use that is similar to what Blogger was?

I do have some Ebay updates. Since my last post I listed 4 more items. I really should list more and then do some more listing. They were packages of size 10 business envelopes, colored. So they brought up my item count at 28 items total. However one of the packs of envelopes sold. Plus I sold some packs of those Football cards I listed at the end of August. So now I have 27 items. See you start listing and you start selling, you don't list and the sales stop. So it is likely my first Oct post will be my Sept Ebay sales. Maybe I'll have more than one post in October? Could happen. I won't guarantee it.

Back to the Blogger format change thing: In the back of my mind, however the solution is to go into even more debt and spring for a super long greatly needed computer upgrade replacement. We're talking an ancient HP laptop using Windows XP that can't upgrade Windows (or Google or Chrome, or Firefox or more recently YouTube) so many frequently used sites are not allowing access anymore. Getting a new computer would mean that I don't have to do this new thing with the copying the scans onto a thumb drive thing, then working on the post on my work laptop, which I sometimes bring home but don't like to bring home. It has been ages since I have seriously looked at all the tech specs of "current" computers to do some semi-educated new computer shopping. IN the 1980s and 90s I used to keep up with all that crap, now days I don't even bother. If the thing connects to the internet and allows me onto the sites I use the most then I am fine. When I do get a new computer it will most likely be a notebook/laptop with regular PC Windows not the dang tablet, smart phone "Mobile" versions. UGH I hate when those devices default to the mobile version of websites. I can do some stuff with my tablet but it is annoying. Doing something as detailed as making a blog post is NOT a task for a tablet or a droid smart phone.
